Johan Liebert is the perfect example of a dark, twisted mind behind a smiling face. He is, in fact, a serial killer that was wanted all throughout Europe, even though the blame had been placed on a one Dr. Tenma for a long period of time. Nevertheless, he is charismatic on the outside, and his voice is very soft-spoken and kind. He uses these traits to manipulate people's feelings and to dig into the recesses of their minds, finding what they fear and what they hate and using that to his advantage.
Johan also has issues of "self". Or rather, he completely lacks that feeling, thus his complete willingness to utterly mess with someone else's mind. He seems to lack fear to some extent as well, to the point where it may seem suicidal.
The only person he would think twice about killing would be Dr. Tenma, the man who saved his life when he was a child, and his complete opposite in both personality and morality. He even has driven his sister to the brink of insanity/suicide on occassion.
Johan is appoximately 22 years old, has blue eyes and blonde hair. He is also rather pale for a man who wanders around Europe all the time.
